Hi,<br>I'm a little worried about this TV channel, as it seems to be morphing into a bigger and bigger beast every time i hear about it. I have seen in the past with other media projects associated with the camp that people aim high but fail to have realistic expectations. <br>
<br>It does sound great, but we need to remember that we are a grass roots activist network, and that using mainstream media is something we should be avoiding...so i would not be happy with us using services such as youtube, google video etc....<br>
<br>Also, I'm wondering how the TV crew fit in with the media team? Surely this has the potential to go 'off message' very badly. <br><br>My other main concern is that of electricity. There are major restrictions and much competition for power on site this year. I've seen the amount that vision TV have asked for, and they are unlikely to get what they have asked for. Does this project include using the same space as the 'vision tv' people? If not, then it is even more worrying. <br>

<br>Does any one have any ideas?<br><br>And yes, once the Climate Camp TV site is up properly (the one with the aggregator feed right now is just a place holder) the films in the main channel will all be Climate Camp films, beginning with some of the films from earlier camps through prep, and then the swoop, the camp... workshops... etc. There will also be 4 sub-channels: from the studio, from the camp, from the street, and from the hip (see attached for current working document description). On these channels one might find a film about an affiliated action that takes place the week of Climate Camp, but wouldn't stretch to covering the 1010 launch on the 1st of September, as that has no relation, and in fact scheduled itself against the camp. The other channels are the stuido, docs from the day and around the camp, and an aggregator which will pull everything tagged ClimateCamp09 from around the net (that tag should be whatever is promoted as the media tag... but I'm not sure if we've totally settled what that is yet?).<br>

Hi,<br>
Is it possible that the radio can get as prominent a link on the website as the TV? We did a huge amount of work last year. it worked, and we got loads of positive feedback.....and after all, tv is bandwidth intensive compared to audio and is really just radio with pictures!!!!<br>
We have a flash player that you can use, but there is also allready a hyperactive media player available too...<br>

This embed will be for the duration of the camps by default<br>
exclusively climate camp films. Down the list are all the climate<br>
camp films from last year. Before the climate camp films for 2009<br>
roll in it makes sense to have some other relevant content to<br>
renovate the embed. Isn't it hard anyway to decide if something is<br>
"climate camp" or not. What about pixie actions etc?<br>
However, if you prefer, we can alter the embed so that it only shows<br>
a selection of films.<br>
