As far as I was aware, the only reason given at the time for taking the films off of the CCTV site was concern over copywrite.<br><br>And it's not fair to say that 'no attempt' was made to protect people's identities, as a great deal of care was in fact taken in this regard, as outlined by both myself and Rastko previously. <br>
<br>I believe that the team struck the right balance on this one, and I would stand behind the choices made.<br><br>However, if anyone disagrees, they are welcome to discuss this on Crabgrass - where Rastko has started a page for the purpose. (It's on the Climate Camp TV and Documenting team group, which is open, but if people want an invitation so you can find it, just let me, Lauren, or anyone else in the group know to invite you) And if there are specific concerns, details of these might help to focus discussion, even if the horse has, indeed, already bolted.<br>

Am worried by this, the resion the films aren't on the CCTV site, and should have been taken down from the LIVE site - re-edited and re-posted is because of issues of identifying activist doing crimal damage (with no attempt to hide there identerty in the edit) and the use of copyright music which is agenst the terms of service of blips the host of both the LIVE site and CCTV. The has been good dicushern on these subjects and am shore a concesus is forming which can be agreed at the CCTV meeting.<br>

Hard to know what to do on these issues at this point - as the police will likely have copy's of the video by now, but isent certern as they can be very incompetent about tec stuff.<br>

On balance, If you can take down all the incriminated stuff this is probely still a good idea - then do an edit with some seance blurred to re-post. If this comes to a court case your video will likely be used by the police in court. At least you have done the right thing in the end if you act now.<br>

Lets hope they don't prosecute, might not as its continues the bad publiserty for them - cross your fingers.<br>

The CCTV embed on the front page of climatecamp site has changed. It is now missing many of the films produced for the swoop. And contains the films that reveal peoples faces (and copyright infringing music). This hasent been discued in climatecamptv nore on media or webedit lists, thus the has been no process for this to happen. Can it please be changed back and who ever made the change please explain the process behind there actions, who asked for them and if/were was it announced. Thanks.<br>
