Hey Jon,<br><br>Only just caught up on this thread.<br>While I definitely think there were problems with what we had before, I'm not sure this is the solution we should stick with.<br><br>I think the result is that the front page looks too busy, with too much text and not enough images. It also isn't immediately obvious what we've just done.<br>
<br>Getting rid of the highlight boxes saves us as a webteam some headaches about what should be there, but I think it doesn't help publicise all the amazing things that are happening. For instance, Cousland is now no longer on the front page, and or the NMTB newspaper, both projects which might as well get some front page space.<br>
<br>I think the solution might be to put a call out to get more people involved in the web team to suggest material for the site and blog, rather than to narrow down what we present.<br><br>that said, I think there's no harm in experimenting with the front page. I'll try and think of some alternative solutions.<br>
