[Dissent-tech] re: domain name

Hiya,

regarding the domainname issue, i can arrange this to be registered (payed by postal order) and have the 
admin/tech etc. details anonymous. The owner could be registered as "The Dissent Network".  Let me know 
asap if i'm required to do this.

A few thoughts regarding the website:

For a start we definitely need php/mysql functionality, which riseup can provide AFAIK.

Having a mirror is a good idea, essential in fact as we get closer to the mobilisation.

I think it would be a good idea that as well as having a general forum and news section, that we code the 
capability for each group to have it's own homepage and news section and discussion board. At least one 
person from each group would be a moderator for that groups board and for updating the groups 
homepage.  I'm quite happy to code this (yeah, i'm sick in the head i know :-) ).

We also need to incorperate the mailing list into the site as well.

Regarding colours, i'm thinking red,black & green (though that's just me...;-) )

We prob need to wait for a bit on the design until the agitprop collective come up with a logo that 
everyones happy with <shudder>, but perhaps soemthing nice n clean ( http://www.stopbayergm.org/ is a 
campaign website which loads nice n quick)
