[Edinburgh-carecampaign] next campaign meeting and Glasgow Herald

Our next meeting is this Wed. 21st Oct '09  - 6pm at Council Chambers.
Last Wed. we had a Dept. Unison meeting. About 25 attended  two thirds
(approx) from Domiciliary care,
Staff expressed their anger
 at having free time while agency staff get their service- users.
Meanwhile management try to make a case that they have to put work out to
agencies because there's no space with the Council carers!

The Glasgow Herald have had articles all week on the abuse of the elderly
I'm going to try and send the link for today's article    If I manage I'll
try yesterday's as well.  the link is

Irony is while the aticles have been good, the Herald has shortlisted
Re-able for some award!
