Think it would be great to merge these into a briefing for councillors. Let
me know when you have the last document and I'll get it put together. I
think a press release at that time would be a good idea too.

Hello brothers and sisters Apologies for not having sent out info for a
while.

Hope everyone is well.

Attached is a document that the campaign could present to Councillors - if
campaigners feel it's ok.

All the examples can be verified by the person giving the example being
willing to talk to any councillor - or anyone else - on the 'phone
without their name or the service-users name being revealed.

As you can imagine, these are just typical of many examples.

To add to what is attached there is also a 2 page document which gives a day
by day account

I'm on a few days break from now but after this, I'll scan or type that
example as well.

If we think it's ok, I'll ask Unison to type it on headed paper and give it
to Councillors.

At the very least they can't then say they didn't know how bad it is.

The organisation Carewatch has come to my attention recently. I've heard
and got documentation re. 2 complaints against them - of carers not
turning up; or being consistently late; not knowing or carrying out basic
tasks; frequently different carers etc
