[Edinburgh-carecampaign] time and day of campaign meetings?

Hi folks   We had our first meeting last Wed. - Jan 13th   at usual time
6pm.

We thought before we arrange any more, we'd ask if there's a better time or
day.

We're very keen to make these meetings open to everyone so please get back

If we don't hear we'll continue on a 2 weekly basis  Wed. 6pm at City
Chambers from 27th Jan

As always, sadly, we hear of difficulties with the private sector.

One elderly woman who was given care from the private sector, was regularly
not visited; carers were late  - hours late. And on 3 occasions within a
week the carers had not been given the keysafe no..

However we discussed the earlier article re. carehomes seeming to have a
preference for residents who are fed through a tube in their stomachs.

I'm very glad to report that there is no evidence that this practice is
happening in Edinburgh.
