[Educationforall] proposed agenda for EFA meeting sunday 1/3 Balboa Park

Hi All,

 

The following is the proposed agenda for the Education For All meeting this Sunday January 3rd. The meeting will be held at Balboa Park Presidents Way and Park Blvd at 1pm (assuming it will not be raining) out in the grassy area. Please feel free to bring your lawn chairs/folding chairs, or blankets to sit on.

 

1. Introductions

 

2. Educational/ Political discussion (article will be sent out over list-serv soon, please keep eyes out for an article about the campus occupations, please read and be ready to discuss)

 

3. Coordinating Committee proposal: establishing student leadership, democratically electing a Coordinating Committee- 1) composed of 3 students  2)solicit agenda items/set agenda 3) Maintain club status and attend mandatory campus meetings 4) Follow up with action items

 

4. Brief update from BEAT and FU protest on 1/4 and beyond

 

5. Report backs- Labor/ K-12/ messaging committees...

 

6. Continue organizing January 23rd Summit, meeting structure, formulate agenda.

 

7. Clarification of other undemocratic planned event on March 4th.
