Hello All,

I wanted to let everybody know that there is going to be a Southern California Regional Meeting To Save Public Education on Saturday December 5th at 1pm. I came across the info for this meeting at a socialism conference I was attending this weekend. This meeting is going to be held at the Southern California Library (On Vermont, between Slauson and Gage) 6120 S Vermont Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90044 (323)759-6063. I think it would be extremely important to have some representation there from our campus to network with others in the same struggle to learn from and share ideas with, and also info, strategies, lessons learned, ect from each other. After all if March 4th and April 15th are going to be super successful, it will only be if we ensure that we are organized not just at our campus but at a statewide level.

I am planning to attend this meeting and hopefully we can get a large number of you guys to attend as well, and maybe organize some carpools. I have not been able to find a website of facebook announcement of this meeting, but if I do I will sent it over the list.

Just a reminder that our next meeting is on December 4th and this So Cal Meeting is the next day Saturday December 5th, so there is some urgency regarding starting a discussion over the list serve regarding those who would like to attend and organizing the details. Please respond to all. Thanks.
