Subject: [Educationforall] EFA 3/26 Meeting Minutes



The following is the minutes/notes I gathered for EFA 3/26 meeting. Please feel free to add anything I might leave out or correct any information that you might think is incorrect.
 
3/26 EFA meeting minutes 
 
Agenda:
1. Report back from TAG forum/ AB 540 forum.
2. Outreach/ actions
3. SoCal Regional meeting in LA
 
 
1. TAG forum had about half City students and half SDSU students. Could have used literature/ flyers to pass out at event in order to draw students to EFA work. 
 
2. Action items proposals voted on and passed.
 
a) build for and mobilize City students to attend 4/8 TAG community townhall event with Webber.
 
b) establish a document/ report listing local problems around budget cuts and present demands in this report. (Report Committee established to work on this)
 
c) tabeling/ flyering at City monday thru thursday from 8:30-12 along with Club I.D.E.A.S.
and promote EFA mission, events, meetings, and protests. (Marlene and Hector working on flyer/calander- let us know if y'all need some support with this)
 
d) begin a dialogue between Club I.D.E.A.S. and EFA to incorporate and come with a list of demands. This dialogue will take place at fridays 4/2 EFA meeting at Latte Mi Corazon.
 
3. Southern California Regional meeting on saturday 3/27. Need to continue to coordinate organizing efforts of the whole statewide movement.
