Hello Brothers and Sisters,

The team at FUeL needs our assistance TODAY before 4:30pm.  48hours before the community forum at Hoover Highschool, President Weber and company changed the structure of the forum to minimize community participation.  FUeL has asked us to call/fax Webers office today with requests to allow for community participation.  The structure they are imposing essentially presents an informative presentation of the TAG program without opportunity for real questions or dialogue with students, parents, or community members.  They have provided a simple script below that you may utilize, or drop your own messages. 

Also, FUeL has asked us to track how many calls, faxes, or emails we place to their office.  If you do contact the office please send me a text or call at 858-625-1127 and I'll keep a tally.  Thank you and let me know if you have any questions.

Thank you for your continued support in defense of public education. Members of FUeL have been meeting with President Weber to discuss the Local Admission Guarantee and Fee Hikes. We believe that by including the voices of  parents and students we can find solutions that ensure that the doors of SDSU do not close to San Diego students. Sadly, President Weber's idea of a community forum excludes the voices of our communities. We can still make sure that the April 8th Community Forum at Hoover High School is a space that ensures that we work together to keep SDSU open to future generations of Sandiegans. Please join us by urging President Weber to include the voices of community members, so that we keep the doors of San Diego State open to local communities.

We are strongly urging you all to please call, fax and/or email President Weber's Office between the hours of 8am and 4pm demanding to include community speakers in order for us to have an effective and productive dialogue that will lead to keeping SDSU open to San Diego students.  Demand that President Weber include a dialogue in April 8th's Community Forum at Hoover High!
