After making a final push to have President Weber's Office include a dialogue with the community, they have decided to dismiss our recommendations of including a community Panel. Many calls and emails were made to the President's Office by students, educators, parents and community members they have decided to keep the SDSU Panelist, but limit the community to Q&A.

In response to this disrespectful action by President Weber and his office we will protest at tomorrow's forum by doing the following:

We will go into the auditorium with our mouths covered with a piece of cloth to symbolize the silencing of the community by SDSU Administrators
We will sit through the Panelist presentation, which is limited to President Stephen Weber, Sandra Cook, Ethan Singer, and Reggie Blaylock only.

At the Q&A portion, we ask that the first speaker (or "question") be a representative from FUeL, Priscilla from Point Loma High School. Priscilla will read a statement on behalf of FUeL addressing the actions taken by SDSU Administration to ignore the community.
After the reading of the statement, FUeL will present the Panelist with a petition urging Administration to ensure that community stakeholders including SDSU students, local high school students, parents, teachers and elected officials are included in a meaningful and inclusive dialogue to find immediate and viable solutions that restores the local admissions policy and halts increase to fee hikes.

We ask that everyone arrive at 5pm at Hoover High School in order to distribute the cloths to everyone before we enter the auditorium. We will have a table and the FUeL banner set up outside of the auditorium, and will be handing out the cloths and statements to the everyone right there. We are also asking that everyone please sign the petition before entering the auditorium.

See you tomorrow!
