"In the end," said Dr. King, "we will remember not the words of our
enemies, but the silence of our friends...Injustice anywhere is a threat to
justice everywhere."

What is the issue?
The administration at SDSU eliminated the long-standing policy of
guaranteeing admission to CSU-qualified local students two weeks before the Fall
2010 application deadline for SDSU. Up until then students who met CSU
eligibility requirements were admitted into SDSU. The new policy set a
quota/limit on the number of local students admitted to the campus . This year alone,
1740 qualified local students were denied admission to SDSU outright.

What can you do?
Individually or with others, write and call Chancellor Charles Reed and
the CSU Board of Trustees. The message is simple: "Order SDSU to terminate
its new policy; restore the local student admit guarantee policy now!
