The following is the proposed agenda for the Education For All Coalition meeting this Sunday January 17th. The meeting will be held at Balboa Park Presidents Way and Park Blvd at 1pm (assuming it will not be raining) out in the grassy area. Please feel free to bring your lawn chairs/folding chairs, or blankets to sit on.

 

1. Introductions- 5min

 

2. Educational portion. Please check out the governor's proposed budget for the 2010-11 year at  http://www.cbp.org/pdfs/2010/100108_Gov_Budget.pdf 

It is about 12 pages short, please read and be prepared to discuss- 20 min

 

3. Report backs: SoCal Regional meeting, Labor & K-12 committees- 15 min

 

4. Discussion and encouragement on further participation for k-12 outreach.- 15 min

 

5. Continue organizing Summit on the 23rd/ report back on 1/8 meeting -30 min

 

6. Preparation for start of spring semester- organizing an event on February (teach-in/ rally/ press conference prior to march 4th?) - 15 min
