Come be a part of the City College Martin Luther King Jr. Parade Spirit!


WE NEED YOU!
Last year, our college had a HUGE turnout, and once again, we encourage all
of you to march, as part of the City College marchers with faculty and
staff. This year, with the steadfast work of your Associated Students and
Professor Duane Gardella, and other staff and student volunteers,  the goal
is that it will be even better than last year's float!

ARRIVE AT 9AM
At 9am, everyone should plan to arrive at the Petco staging area...You can
park in the Petco parking lot, or on the street. Some areas are metered in
the area. The area is located at Tailgate Park(parking area for Petco Park),
13th and Imperial Ave, San Diego, 92101

FREE TSHIRTS
Student Affairs staff will hand out t-shirts to the first 100 participants
who arrive at the area and walk with City College to wear that day. If you
can, try to wear a City College t-shirt or wear red or black to the parade
in case we run out.

OUR FLOAT
Our 2010 float is themed: Let Freedom Ring.. THROUGH EDUCATION. It is a
fantastic collective effort of students, faculty and staff.
