Dear Colleagues:
Several faculty and graduate students from the departments of Ethnic
Studies, Literature, and Communications
have collaborated with he anti-prison expansion organization, Critical
Resistance, to plan the two events listed below.
The first is a benefit for the organization, and will feature special
guest Dr. Ruth Wilson Gilmore.
The second is a roundtable discussion concerning how organizers are
linking the fight for publeducation to the fight against the prison
industrial complex
Please join us at these exciting events, and please publicize them widely.
