The letter of solidarity of Initiative Group students and professors of Moscow State University

to students of California
Students and professors of California!

We support your struggle against privatization of education, cuts, fee hikes, and layoffs. Each person should have access to quality education. State money should go not on war or indemnification of losses of big banks and corporations, but on development of human potential.

Besides, we are revolted by repressive actions of administration of University of Berkeley and police against the well-founded protest of citizens. We consider protests of students, teachers and educators to be legal and attempts of authorities to prevent those activities inadmissible.

We express you our solidarity and we wish you success in your fair demands.
