[Educationforall] No more crumbs from the masters table

I am a bit confused and worried by this message. I appreciate the
enthusiasm, but I am not sure whether you want to take extreme actions or
are just trying to fire up everyone on the mailing list. I would suggest to
keep future messages a bit more civil and polite. My only concern with
"energy" like this is that it can lead to desructive actions, and that
is not what I think the majority of the people involved in this
movement would like to see occur. I have been participating in this movement
since the begginig of last year (when student, faculty, and community
involvement was minimal) and I would hate to see it collapse on itself due
to the excitement of someone who appears to have a destructive attitude
toward our opposition. "You can fight fire with fire, but water works best"
(Not sure where I read this quote, but I think you get the point of what I
am trying to say). Past social movements have been dismantled because of the
careless actions of a few individuals. I am not saying that this is you.
All that I am implying to you is that you think a little more crticially
about how you go about anything related to this movement out of respect to
the rest of us who have worked so hard to see it get to where it is at
today. Thank you for reading this and thank you for being a part of
this important movement.
