Tom Hayden was one of the best-known student activists of the 1960s, a
founding member of Students for a Democratic Society (SDS), one of the
Chicago 7, and both a CA state assemblyman and a CA state senator
(1982-2000).  He has taught courses at Pitzer College and Occidental
College.  He will deliver a talk entitled "Students and Social Action in the
Age of Obama."
Free and open to the public.  Sponsored by the Chicano/a~Latino/a Arts and
Humanities Program (CLAH), the California Cultures Program, Revelle College,
and the Dept. of Literature
