The first round of votes in Working America’s Bad Boss contest picked two semi-finalists who fit the bill perfectly.
Like 14 million other jobless Americans, Shonda Sneed, who has been out of work since December 2009, just wants to work, “All I want is a decent job. I love to work. I’m scared.” Sneed and other jobless workers took part this morning in a special AFL-CIO forum, “The Jobs Crisis—Moving to Action: A Dialogue Between Workers and Policymakers.” It was moderated by journalist Bob Herbert and included AFL-CIO President Richard Trumka, Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.), Rep. Sander Levin (D-Mich.) and economist Heather Boushey.
