 Hello Language Academy Family, 






   This is what I will be doing Friday afternoon: pack picnic dinner in the backpack and take kids on the trolley to Seaport Village.  To find out why please read below...and check the attached flier for more details.

  
Stand up for students and show support for our schools!  Join parents, students, educators and community groups at a rally from 4 to 6 p.m., on Friday, May 13, at San Diego’s Embarcadero Marina Park North, 500 Kettner Blvd. The purpose of the rally is to call for a state budget that supports education and families. 

A “cuts only” budget is bad for our children and bad for California.  PTA is joining with education groups across the state to tell Sacramento “No More Cuts to Schools.
 We suggest you take the trolley, as parking is limited and we are expecting several thousand parents, teachers and community members.  Similar rallies are being held in major California cities simultaneously, get ready to talk to the press – they’ll all be there.
