<FONT FACE="Verdana"><SPAN STYLE='font-size:14.0px'>I have a class that day that meets at TM10 at 11:00am and depending on the rain, I was thinking of taking our desks out to the NW corner of 16th and B St., across from Garfield High, and having our class out where people can see us. Then after an hour or so, we'll head up to meet folks at the Gordon quad or wherever. I could use help moving desks back and forth, and people to bring signs and banners to clarify the message to the people driving along B st (no chanting please, we'll be taking our first midterm, and I'd like to keep the distractions to a minimum).<BR>

At the last EFA meeting it was voted that our action for March 4th prior to the march on the Governors office would be a WALKOUT of the San Diego City College campus. Our action will be done in Solidarity with students, teachers, and workers starting at 11:00am. Further details will be provided as they become available. The website has been updated with additional information in how anyone may participate. The canvasing of classrooms is working extremely well. All remaining classes from the list should be canvased by the end of this week. Would the faculty on the LISTSERV please contact your fellow teachers and request slots for students to speak about crisis, the movement, and the action of WALKING OUT on March 4th. <BR>

We must do everything possible to disseminate our call throughout the City College campus so that not a single student or teacher hesitates to unify for their rights. This work must also be done throughout the city. Each day we receive new updates regarding plans of action to shut down business as usual. UC Faculty released a statement calling for a complete WALKOUT across the UC System for March 4th as well. We must stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in San Diego, the State, and beyond on March 4th, 2010. <BR>
