i am not sure, but i am going to be meeting with nikki today after your class, my thought is that we set up a table/booth in the quad and man it daily, until the 4th, passing out flyers and connecting with the students, at this stage of the struggle i think it would be wise to focus on our campus, getting as many students at our campus involved, and building a strong and committed core group, i dont have class on tuesdays and thursdays and will donate my time than. i also talked to my firends who play in the band veras veil, they are practicing tonight and will decide whether they will play at the rally. i need to know the time frame and what equipment they will need to bring, they are well known in san diego and would benefit us if they say yes.

--- On Tue, 2/16/10, Arnie <arnieds@cox.net> wrote:
<blockquote style="border-left:

On line actions?

Great! The more canvassing, flyers, tabling, banners the better. We can all be carrying a stack of flyers and handing them out when walking between classes, writing on the side of the board of all classrooms a "please save" box that announces the event. I didn't take marketing but I think they call it a "saturation campaign".

I heard somewhere that people were setting up some kind of online action. Does anyone know the best site to point online students to?

That would be excellent Kurt. I've included Arnie (and EFA) in the email so that both of you are aware. I would suggest going at the beginning of the class. He mentioned he would prefer either but since you'll be on campus I'd suggest going early, just in case Arnie misses this email before the class, he would be able to find a way to give you some time. Just speak from the heart brotha! I'll comment that its been useful to write something on the board so that your brothers and sisters can write down info for referencing later. Such as event dates or website info.
In regards to the booth for March 4th. Since we have reserved the space it simply is a matter of borrowing a booth from the school and manning it. Lets handle that up as part of the logistics discussion in the next meeting. Thank you both, see you guys soon!
Class Schedule for Arnie: Tues/Thurs from 11:10am to 12:35pm in room TM10 (the trailers across from the High School).
PS. Also Arnie, I sometimes make it onto the campus during those days and if I do I'd like a chance to speak with your class as well. I may just drop in but I'll try to let you know if I have ample notice. Thank you for setting us up!
