<DIV>Thank you all for attending the Budget Cut Forum. As you well know California's Budget is in a world of hurt due to the pure negligence and wasteful spending where both the republicans and democrats are guilty. As a result of such irresponsible spending both parties have waged a full attack on the working class, you and I, vowing to balance the budget at the expense of the people.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Instead of reducing the defense budget, the politicians are trying to dissolve the pell grant which makes it possible for you, I, and many others to attend college, and obtain a higher education. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Instead of reducing tax breaks for the wealthy, the tuition at city college is going to increase to 36, and if no action is taken from us the students, the fees will increase this year to $50, and even higher. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Many of the classes the administration deems "elective" such as ethnic studies, arts, music, and horticulture, will be slashed of funding if not eradicated altogether. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Action needs to be taken now! EFA, Education For All is radical group on campus that is fed up with waiting for things to work themselves out or for the government bail out, only wall-street seems to receive such treatment. </DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>As a group we are dedicated to fight the injustices that are forced upon us by the ruling class. We vow to fight the administration for better conditions at school, no more fee hikes, and restoring education for all! We have organized many protests, the largest last March 4th with over 4000 students, and the recent protest where 200 frustrated students closed down front and Broadway, leaving the police confused and for once, on the other side of fear and intimidation!</DIV>

<DIV>The time is now and we must keep this momentum going, but we need your help! The revolution is in the air my friends, and with unity we will succeed! Lets take Wisconsin, N. Africa, the Middle East and anywhere else people are struggling against the top as a firm example of strength! Lets unite and through solidarity we can make democracy really happen, but it starts with you!</DIV>
