Even though we have struggled through three years of drastic budget cuts, the San Diego Community College District has been committed to meeting the educational needs of our students. Unfortunately, for 2011-2012, the state will be substantially reducing the number of student enrollments that they will fund for community colleges. We are deeply disappointed by this decision.<br></font><BR><font face="times new roman,times" size="3">After carefully considering all options and the impact of these unprecedented reductions to our core programs, we regret that we are forced to drastically reduce our summer offerings to minimum levels. The only courses we will be offering will be those to honor specific commitments, including specialized allied health programs and pending summer graduates. Therefore, we will not be producing a summer schedule or issuing registration appointments.<br></font><BR><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">S</font><font face="Times New Roman" size="3">tudents in specialized programs and summer graduates will be contacted with instructions regarding the registration process.<br></font><BR><font face="times new roman,times" size="3">We regret this unfortunate situation and the impact it may have on your educational plans. We will do everything we can to protect our fall and spring classes.
