With this agreement, Bonus workers gained <BR>a wage increase, health and safety protections, <BR>and grievance and arbitration procedures to <BR>resolve workplace problems. The contract also <BR>established rights that protect workers from <BR>being unfairly punished or dismissed.<BR><BR>The ACLU of Southern California has supported the <BR>CLEAN Carwash campaign's efforts since its <BR>inception in 2008. We've helped organize the car <BR>wash workers, aided the contract negotiation <BR>process, and rallied our full membership for support.<BR><BR>This Thanksgiving, we're grateful that Los <BR>Angeles is home to the only unionized car wash in <BR>the country.
