[ENS] March for Abortion Rights! 1st organisers meeting 26th Nov

At the Feminist Fightback Conference, organised by Education Not For Sale Women, it was agreed to have a torchlit march for abortion rights on International Women's Day 8th March 2007 in London.
  The first meeting of the organising group will take place on 26th November, in London, 2-3pm. Venue to be confirmed. This is the Sunday after the No Sweat Conference, which will be held on Saturday 25th at SOAS (for more info go to http://www.nosweat.org.uk/node/103 ). We will be able to offer people going to both events somewhere to stay in London on Saturday night if they need it. Please let me know if you can make the meeting.
  The organising group is open to everyone, but we need a number of people who are able to commit to coming to a couple of meetings in the run up to the march and can put some work into building it. If you think you would like to do this please email either me or Sofie Buckland (volsunga at gmail.com). If you would like to get involved but don't want to be on the organising committee there are still lots of things you can do, including collecting signatures for the ENS abortion rights petition (attached and available at www.socialistfeminist.org.uk ). We will keep you posted.
  At Fightback conference it was agreed that we would use the ENS Abortion petition as the basis of our demands for the march. Have a look and let me know if there are any changes you would like to make.
  It was also agreed that we should invite the Abortion Rights Campaign to come on board- I've just sent them an email.
