[FlyingBrickAnnouncements] LIPS film screening fundraiser

I give the thumbs up to Shortbus as well. It should be emphasized though
that it's not just "sexual content" but what they call "non-simulated sex
scenes". In other words, not pornography but not actors pretending to have
sex - they very much are having sex on camera for the movie. I don't know if
that will make a difference for anyone in attendance but I could potentially
see someone feeling uncomfortable watching something so sexual in a group of
people.

One of the lead actresses actually almost lost her job just for accepting
the part:

I think there's a very interesting discussion to be had on the controversy
surrounding the film alone.
