[Flyingbrickvolunteers] Alternative Black History

Hello beautiful people!
As you may or may not know, next Thursday, the 25th, the FBL will be
putting on an Alternative Black History Month event! Hooray! I'm
trying to schedule a pre-event meeting for Monday the 22nd at around
11 or 11:30, right before the newsletter meeting at noon. Please reply
and let me know if you're interested in participating and if the time
slot works out for everyone.I would love the help! I've garnered up
poems and excerpts that would be appropriate to read aloud during the
event. Hermelinda has volunteered to do a reading of bell hook's
Feminism is for Everybody. I also plan to read a little bit of Audre
Lorde and Patricia Hill Collins; and I also have a 14 min. long
documentary about the Greensboro Massacre of '79. If you have any
ideas you'd like to share, or individuals that you'd like acknowledged
in celebration of Black History Month, please let me know! Thanks
