 Hi Hermelinda,

 We're working on the next issue of The Virginia Defender newspaper. Because
of increased demand, we need to bump up the press run another thousand, to
16,000 copies. The rule of thumb in the newspaper industry is that each copy
of a general-interest paper is read by an average of three people, so that
would mean we can now expect to reach 48,000 readers.



Our least expensive ad is a 2" x 3.5" business card-size ad, for $35. If an
advertiser orders that size for three issues, the price drops to $25 per ad.



But, for this issue, we are offering a special deal: a business card-size ad
for just $20!



Why are we doing this? Because we think that, if you advertize once in the
Defender, you'll want to advertize again. We're that confident about the
response your ad will get.
