All-Volunteer Meeting Notes

03/21/10

In attendance: Bo, Ty, Rami, Nathan, Matt, Kendall (facilitating), Robert

Agenda:  Intro, Overview, Events/Workshops for Mention/Proposal Monday

Summary:

- Library introduced

- Consensus, facilitation, working groups and open hours explained

- Ty, Matt, Rami, Robert, Bo all express interest in working during open
hours.  Contact info is collected by Kendall, who will call once finding
out what is available.

- Intention to keep meeting short due to member absences, focus on
event/workshop ideas to be offered/proposed to working group Monday

- Nathan and Kendall both express interest in having another all-volunteer
meeting sooner than usual to take on mission statement as originally
planned.

- Event Proposals to be mentioned at the working group tomorrow:


-	New films needed, as volunteers had originally decided to screen two/month.

-	Kendall mentions (does not officially propose) creating/keeping a list
of films relevant to FB’s mission statement for volunteers to regularly
vote on screening.

-	Matt Wetsel offers presentation / documentary film on eating disorders

-	Robert volunteers to speak to Bryan Wysong about bicycle maintenance
workshop, Kendall will contact Robert to learn specific details

-	Nathan requests Soil and the Sun, a touring band.  Proposed show on
April 5th.

-	Several members reiterate interest in 2nd Friday social times, citing
importance for building relationships, bringing new people into the Brick
and networking between groups of friends

-	Robert mentions interest in sewing workshop.  Possibility mentioned of
having this coincide with Wingnut craft night to cross the crowds.
