Does the 18 count John and Caroline as well? We are still interested in going and can offer an air conditioned car that can take five (or a sixth if someone is really interested in crumpling themselves up in the hatchback trunk area).
 
As for Catherine, we can suggest contacts for places to stay in NYC and Philly if she needs them.
