[FlyingBrickAnnouncements] Meeting & Collective

So, I suppose because of Best Friend's Day activities, Thursday's meeting
did not happen. If folks want to meet before the next scheduled
meeting on *Monday,
September 5th, 12:30pm, *then I would be into that, but I suppose most of
the agenda items I've been given are not super pressing. I called people to
ask if they could take on the monthly tasks, and this is the who's who for
this month:

Volunteer Scheduler - Allison Libertine, Nathan Stickel (Facebook reminders)
Meeting Reminders - Ramey Connelly

I'd really like to keep pressing on this whole collective idea, and I've
called just about everyone, and haven't gotten any super negative feedback
so far. There is a list of about 10 people who are interested in being a
part of the collective, and once I talk to a couple more people I'll feel
comfortable enough to try and get us all together to discuss how it is going
to work. I really really really recommend folks read the *Better Days
Collective: Aims & Principles *zine that is here at the Library, as well as
the *IWW Rusty's Rules *and *IWW Constitution *to get some idea of where I'm
coming from on some of these ideas. If y'all want to read other group's
bylaws and principles, please do so! I need more thoughts on this! I hope I
see all of you soon! And don't forget about the field trip this Sunday!
