Hey y'all, I just got this through the Flying Brick's email.....


Hey there,

My name is Meredith and I'm writing to inquire about setting up a screening
of my queer Southern music documentary, *Whistlin' Dixie*. You can find out
more about the project here: www.queersouth.com. Constance Sisk messaged me
your information and mentioned that you all sometimes hold DIY screenings
and shows. I'd love to get involved if y'all are interested. I'm touring the
country with the film this summer and will have my own projector and screen.
Most of my screenings are alongside bands, but I'm flexible on format. I
recently premiered at NC Rising in Greensboro and it went very well. I
should be in Richmond in mid-late July, probably around the 23rd or 24th. Do
you think this could work? If not, do you have any suggestions for other
venues?

Is anyone out there willing to take this on? Or should I forward them to
another space? I think it would be great to do it, but I am trying to take a
break from organizing events here, so it would have to be some other folks
who want to help set this up and do promotion. Anyone interested?
