Mission Statement Stuff:

Points of Unity (not principles, not necessary)

Another draft by Friday (Ellen- Points of Unity, Mara&Nathan- Statement)



Communication, Accountability, Transparency:

Replying too much on the internet (listserv, facebook, blog), more
discussing in person

Chalkboard for events (can have volunteer contact info)

Constantly working with new people, need to learn how to be an organizer

Note book/ clip board for volunteers to write down what they did, contact
list of volunteers- Allison will get notebook going

Binder for meeting notes and people to give input (having computer ink to
print out notes every meeting)

Phone tree- in binder

organizing/work days- not having things rely on residents (food, cleaning,
having something to do), being aware of what you want out of the library,

checking theflyingbrick email



Next Volunteer Meeting Aug 29th 6:30

Next Core Collective Sep 4th (Work Groups)
