Follow Ups:

Ellen - Last AK Press book received. PM Press should begin with July. Need
to split up work on transferring some of the archival Richmond VHS in the
library to DVD. Can do it at the VCU Library. Need volunteers to do this.
Student ID is needed.

Ramey- Posted response to DGR on the blog. flyingbrickrva.wordpress.com.
Got a lot of good feedback, people felt supported and liked the solidarity.
Ramey would like help attempting to explain on the post about why Keith's
statements are so invalid. All sections of the book shelves have been
purged. Potentially need to re-arrange some shelves to make space for
common sections that get expanded regularly. There are about 750 books in
the catalog that are not tagged with a category, and most books are not
alphabetized. This should probably be the next project to be tackled in
regards to library organizing.

Nathan - Stickers awaiting contact info to be added.

Reportbacks:

Wayside Ice Cream Social went very well. Many many new faces. About 40
people attended.

Wayside Commons despite troubles it went really well! Really hot though!

Ashley Williams won her trial! So there needs to be more organizing but at
least there is a fight to be fought.

InQueeries!
- Robin would like to re-start a queer theory reading group. Possibly
starting with once a month. Starting in mid-August. Looking to do during
open hours on Thursdays. Robin is interested in talking to people who also
want to be involved. *August 9th, 6pm, Interest Meeting.*

*July 28th, Acoustic Show*
- Mornin' Old Sport on tour, Pete Hamilton will also get something
together. Shane will talk to his room mate about his band.

Prisoner Letter Writing Night
- 3rd Thursday of every month. Ellen is bottomlining. Proposed first theme:
Birthdays! Needs help figuring out what kind of supplies will be
needed.*Starting Thursday, 19th, 7pm.

Social!
- Shane would like to see a social event in mid-August. Ellen suggested a
potluck and fire. Volunteers, friends, and ally groups invited. Try to
bring new folks! Add to next agenda for volunteer meeting.

Budget
- Haven't spent much money this month. Robin volunteered to pick up
volunteer coffee. During open hours, HOUSE COFFEE AND RELATED ITEMS ARE OFF
LIMITS. Housemates have been missing sugar and creamer in a capacity that
is way too big. But we still want y'all to have those things!
Therefore, *Coffee
budget has been upped to $15 to provide for volunteer creamer and sugar.

Books:
- Update the Wishlist! Before the social, Ellen wants to order more books.

ZineFest Help:
- Contact Mara about supporting a Zine event to promote ZineFest.

Computer:
- Ramey passes the duty of computer fixin' on to Shane. If that doesn't
work out, then we might need to do a computer fundraiser to buy a new
computer.

Adjourned. Next meeting will be pushed to 3 weeks from now, *Wednesday,
August 1st, 8:30pm*. This will avoid having two Brick meetings in one week,
and we wont be back to back on Wednesdays with the IWW.
