Sorry for the delay! I can print them out next time I'm at the Library

Core Collective Meeting Notes: Sunday 9/16

AGENDA:

1. Check In

2. Reviewing Working Groups

3. Forming Working Groups, talk about communication

4. Working Groups coordinating with events

5. Separating Working Groups from regular volunteer stuff

6. How meetings are going

Check Ins: craziness, but overall alright

Reviewing W.G’s

What we already do! Or would like to do more of/ less of

Ellen: outreach- printed materials, buying books from PM Press, blog,
covering shifts. Interested in out of state tabling but would rather not do
networking/new people stuff

Mara: volunteering, making things/printing things

Pete: “shows up late on Mondays”

Shane: networking, events

Steve: book sale/fundraising, education (wants to do DIY workshops)

Katie: budget, fundraising

Allison: events/workshops, tabling, volunteering, not networking/book buying

Nathan: networking, budget (but doesn’t want to anymore), listserv,
customer service, hates fundraising

Jordan: networking, events, online stuff

We agreed it makes sense to look at our current needs and fill those rolls,
rather than starting from scratch (because that just wouldn’t make sense,
this library has been around for 10 years…)

Outreach- having materials for zine fest in October, talking about going to
the Carboro Anarchist bookfair in November, also the Baltimore Radical
bookfair next weekend

POINT PEOPLE!

Outreach: Nathan, Ellen

Funds: Katie, Nathan

Volunteer: Allison, Mara

Education: Jordan, Allison

NEXT MEETING: Sunday 9/30 1pm

We will talk about how these meetings are going (facilitation,
participation in meetings)

Allison will send out reminders
