[FlyingBrickAnnouncements] Wayside Needs Help!

Hey y'all, Wayside Center is a really great resource and really needs help
fundraising this year. Please read this email I received and consider
giving them a hand and spreading the word!

Good afternoon Whitney, Mo, Phil, and Nathan!!
This is Bentley,

I wanted to connect with each of you and your collective groups about the
Wayside Cup this year. In the past, regional teams around RVA, CVille,
Fredericksburg, and DC would fundraise and compete to win a free weekend at
Wayside. This year, energy was low and most of the Wayside Cup alumni were
busy with other projects. So we have now had to switch gears and that is
why it has taken me a while to email you.

A quick summary:
The DC "Pundraisers" are our only active Wayside Cup team this year. They
won the Cup last year and have announced they plan on taking it again for a
2nd year in a row. Since they are the only registered team there is no
competition :) so we created a larger team called the "Doneraisers" to help
us pump up the fundraising and play with the Pundraisers.

Today and the next few days we are going to be posting photos (some are
silly), videos (some are ridiculous), quotes, and announcements on Facebook
until October 25th (next Saturday).

I was wondering if each of you would have some time to inform all of
Collective X, Wingnut, Rag N Bones, and Flying Brick that Wayside in RVA
needs help spreading the word online and raising money. If each group has
the means to donate $50-100-or more I will think up something special for
you all :)

We would love friends to "Like" the Wayside fcbk page, share with friends
stories about Wayside or a testimony on how Wayside has benefited you and
your community, post the Wayside website and Donation page

photos, etc!

Anyone can register for the Cup as an individual or as a "Doneraiser" in
the *Team field. Registration is here

register receive emails for the Cup and have opportunity to win Prizes!

I don't want to take too much of your time and I don't expect everyone to
register. But if you and/or anyone in your group can, that would
be amazing! Also, if anyone has the drive to commit extra, we have sample
letters for email appeals and sample texts to invite external contacts to
donate. Let me now if I can help get that off the ground for anyone.

Now that Wayside has it's very own RVA office in Manchester we will be
working harder to expand our services here in the city.
Richmond communities recognize the hard work you do and Wayside thanks you!
Let's unite and show Love to Wayside too :) !
