I don't object to trying things out, but we have had contention with meeting scheduling before, and I don't think one small meeting means our methods of scheduling are necessarily at fault. It was right after the holidays, a few of the usuals were still out of town, and sometimes meetings are just small. I realize the intent, so don't take this as being too dramatic. Like I said, if people want to try those meetings, then we can leave them in place for now, and see how they work out. I would like to make sure there is someone who will be responsible for letting folks know about them, because people are bound to forget by next month.

Hey Nathan,

I remember you talking about writing up the bylaws and presenting them a month in advance. At the meeting, I began by saying something like "just want to throw out the idea of doing two meetings a month..." and explaining how it could work etc. Everyone seemed to like the idea a lot and thought it made sense. Somehow we ended up voting on it, but I definitely see your point about checking in with everyone else before actually making it procedure. I don't really think it's that dramatic of a change though and if anything enhances the communication and organization of the Brick. This meeting was really small, and the whole point of making two regular meetings is so that more people can attend. We could always do it on a trial basis?
