Hey y'all, so it is looking like Hurricane Irene could really effect the Richmond area. Therefore Food Not Bombs has asked a few groups to send out a call for this Sunday. If the power goes out in most of the city, they are requesting (if the roads are passable) that anyone that can donate the use of a propane grill, crockpot, or any other form of gas camping stove or other camping cooking equipment, they could really use them this weekend. The Wingnut has a generator, so they will be able to cook with some electricity, so anything of the sort could help. Also they are expecting low attendance to cooking but probably a high attendance to serving, so they could use the extra help in the kitchen as well, or possibly even the use of another kitchen if they get overloaded. If you can help with any of this, please email <a href="mailto:rvafoodnotbombs@gmail.com">rvafoodnotbombs@gmail.com</a> or call the Wingnut at 804 303 5449. <br>
