It may have gotten lost in the shuffle when she originally sent it, so this may seem a little last minute, but they are requesting some input and help (if possible) from the Flying Brick, and sense Books to Prisoners is sorta associated with us as well, they wondered if folks working on that project could chime in too. Please read this over and discuss/give me input to give her.<br>

Thank you for all of the work you do fighting against mass incarceration
and the prison/jail industrial complex. We love to attend Letter Writing
Night and B4P meetings when we can. We know that the recent victories
around these issues could not have been possible without the work you do
every day. My name is Vanessa with Collective X and you have received an
email and possible phone call from me about the *March Against Mass
Incarceration (MAMI) on November 16, 2013 at 2pm. *
We are hoping that you and your group will join us to speak out
against Mass Incarceration here in Richmond, in Virginia and throughout the
United States. We had our first logistical meeting about the March last
Sunday and have some updates to share:
1) Our next meeting will be on *Sunday October 27 at 7p* at 3431 Patterson
Ave Richmond VA 23221. We will provide dinner!
2) We decided on a final location and time for the march starting point,
Clay Abner Park in Jackson Ward at 2pm. (Clay Abner Park is located at 200
W Clay St (at the intersection of W. Leigh Street, Clay and Brook Road).
There will be a rally on*November 16, 2013 at 2pm in Clay Abner Park and a
strategically planned march afterwards at 3pm.*
3) We have decided on a flyer and that is attached to this email. It
includes a full page PDF and a 4- per page version as well. If you are on

on for the march.

the rally? ( For those interested in speaking at the Rally are not required
to attend the meeting on October 27, an email or phone call with interest
would be sufficient.)
