The Denver Free School presents this screening and group discussion of the
1993 film "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues."

Directed by a young Gus Van Sant and starring Uma Thurman, this
counter-culture story of a group of lesbian cowgirls taking peyote and
domesticating some endangered whooping cranes has flown under the radar of
most film geeks top ten lists.

In this class we'll watch the movie and discuss whether Mr. Robbins novel
was suited for the medium of film.

Starts at 6p.m. at my house (2670 E 13th Ave, between Clayton and
