hello darlins,

sally here, checking in to see what's on your mind concerning freeschool.
I have some ideas to run by you for the summer to get reorganized
and rejuvinated as we approach almost two years of freeschool denver
existence!

#1 freeschool vision-planning discussion and mobilization:
    -a freeschool fundraiser (show? freesale? bike ride? scavenger hunt?) 
to raise funds for calendar copies
    -calendar distrobution bike rides, maybe directly following session
kick-off (a great way to get the calendars out together and have a
great time!)

#2 freeschool denver collective tasks: for those who have shown any
interest in helping maintain the daily/weekly tasks to function...i
propose we get ourselves on a rotation, dare i say...like a chore list
*twitch-twitch* but i mean, for example: if there are only 7 people who
agree to check/update the web-stuff, respond to emails, make calls...that
still makes only maybe an hour or two per week for each person! instead of
one person being forced into a position of authority, and trying to make
decisions that will be approved of by everyone involved in
freeschool...does that sound like a collective?

#3 Terese put much effort into compiling the freeschool denver handbook
which descibes our history, journey, structure and changes. this will soon
be posted to the website for all to familiarize themselves with what
really comprises freeschool. please read it yourselves and add to it, if
you like.

#4 how does a sunday evening sound for a freeschool denver vision meeting?

  let me know so we can continue to let freeschool be what it denver needs
it to be...
