Another line from the same story says it all:

"The fashionable white wristbands, worn by celebrities and
politicians, including Tony Blair..."

I can't imagine a worse endorsement. Maybe Blair knows that which is
why he's wearing one. It will certainly turn off a lot of people.

Interestingly, by portraying it as a 'mistake' none of the charities
even bring up the question of why they are being made in China in the
first place.
