[g8-sheffield] Cuban Blockade

Most of you will know about the immoral and unjust blocakde that the United States has imposed on Cuba for many years. In july I will be going to the Sates to help highlight this. I will be joing a group organised by Pastors for Peace on inclusive grounds (inlcusion without regard to political affiliation, religion, race, gender, background etc). We will collect humanitarian aid in caravans travelling down east and west coasts of the United States, before meeting for a border crossing from the US into Mexico, then the aid will be shipped on to Cuba. The border crossing contravenes the terms of the blockade. It will be done with maximum publicity to try to shame and embarass US politicians and encourage change.
My job as an international participant will be to try to spread information to as wide and international public as possible. This will be especially important should there be any legal challenges.
