Giles Lane of Brighton and Benjamin Potts of Australia
continue to be held on the the Japanese Harpoon Vessel
the Yushin Maru.

The Japanese government have apparently ordered their
release, but the the whalers are refusing to set the
men free unless the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society
bows to their demands.  This is the basic profile of
hostage taking
