I'm curious to know if anyone has every used the FlyPort:

It might be just the job for the remote-sensor part of this
environmental-monitoring project. It has onboard wifi, program space,
and a bunch of IO pins, so it would be just what you wanted for a box
that measured something (power, water, temperature, whatever) and
forwarded the readings to the cloud over available wifi.

And it's cheap, as these things go - £40. An alternative might be a
separate wifi module:

connected to an Arduino, which would cost a bit more but might be easier
to develop for.

Any experiences ?

R.
