hi

I have an idea for a mass action at copenhagen that i'm currently trying
to get support and funding for from some NGOs and other groups. It's
currently a very basic beginning of an idea but it could be very impressive.

Building on the laser tag software developed by Theo Watson and the
Graffiti Research Lab which needs a camera and powerful laser (around
60mw+ for use on buildings). The idea is to create a web based input for
the software, rather than a video signal, thereby negating the need for
expensive and dangerous lasers and expanding the user base from a few
people stood in front of a building to anyone with internet access.

I am not a programmer so I have no idea if this is possible in the time
frame, or even possible at all. The software is open source written in
C++ on openframeworks. The software and the source code is available
from Theo's site here http://muonics.net/blog/index.php?postid=15

I am intending to set this up at Hacktionlab and hopefully talk to
anyone who might be interested in actually making this happen.

I have had initial interest from a few groups, people are excited by the
idea and can see it's potential for Copenhagen but also for future
campaigns so it's looking good so far.

If you've not seen or heard of laser tag watch this video
