Hi Everyone,

Following on from JimDog's original email and the proceeding discussion
in Crabgrass and then gdm's last email, thought I'd resummarise where
we've got to. I second gdm's second thoughts, that Crabgrass ain't the
best place to organise this cos not everyone on the list is on it and I
also keep forgetting to look at it. So let's get this back on the list.

There's been some discussion on the Riseup Crabgrass at
https://we.riseup.net/hacktionlab/autumn-hacktionlab about dates and
content for an Autumn HacktionLab. Here's a summary of where we're at
and what we need to decide between us:

* It's going to be in Bradford at the 1in12 club (http://www.1in12.com/)
* JimDog is happy to organise space and the like (he's the hacker on the
ground, so to speak).
* There's a desire for it to be more techie than the summer one, so that
we can get down to some hacking.
* There's a proposal for a 'code sprint' to get some valuable work done
for some projects.

JimDog proposed the 5th & 6th of December, which some feel is a little
bit close to COP-15, but which is a good week as there's quite of lot of
social activities to do as well (good because the social aspect is
almost as important as the hacking part imho).

Anyway gdm's set up an on-line poll so that we can decide on what
weekend is the best fit for everyone:

Can everyone that's interested in coming please vote on that ASAP so
that we can confirm the date and get organising please.

So far as the content is concerned, who's up for it being more of a
proper hacklab: i.e. more techie than the summer one?

Cheers,

Mike.
