I haven't used paypal in this way before, but my reading was that a
different "item_number" parameter was passed from vendor site to paypal,
to distinguish each different type of merchandise on sale. We only have
one 'product' so I don't think that's what you want. Does paypal return
a unique transaction identifier to our application?
